Helio Genomics has announced a new partnership with Syneos Health to expand the commercialization of its HelioLiver test, a blood-based assay for the early detection of hepatocellular carcinoma. By leveraging Syneos Health’s extensive experience in building and executing commercial programs, Helio aims to accelerate healthcare provider engagement and broad market adoption across the country.

In a landmark achievement for early cancer diagnostics, Helio Genomics has announced its strategic commercial collaboration with Syneos Health, a leading integrated biopharmaceutical solutions organization. This partnership is poised to significantly boost the adoption of HelioLiver™, an innovative blood test that employs artificial intelligence to detect hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), commonly known as liver cancer, at its nascent stages.

For millions of Americans, where they live still shapes how quickly a serious illness is found and whether treatment starts in time to change the outcome. That is especially true in rural healthcare where provider shortages, long travel distances, fragile hospital economics and limited diagnostic infrastructure can delay screening, follow-up testing and specialist referrals. Those delays are not just operational headaches. They are patient-outcome problems, particularly in cancer and chronic disease, where timing often determines whether a condition is manageable, treatable or life-threatening.

NEW YORK – Helio Genomics said on Tuesday that it partnered with Syneos Health to drive adoption of its blood-based HelioLiver test for the early detection of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).

HelioLiver™ is uniquely designed to fit seamlessly into routine liver cancer surveillance with a simple blood draw. By integrating cell-free DNA methylation patterns, protein biomarkers, and patient demographics using proprietary AI algorithms, HelioLiver™ provides an additional source of risk and disease signal at an early stage - even when ultrasound findings are inconclusive.

Helio Genomics is broadening access to its blood-based liver cancer test through Quest Diagnostics’ nationwide infrastructure. The move may support earlier adoption by integrating ordering into existing physician workflows while positioning the company to track utilization and reimbursement progress.
